HIL Engineer
(March 2021 – May 2024)
Main Tasks:
- Dynamometer Data Analysis using MATLAB.
- Numerical simulations in Simulink in order to predict powertrain’s behavior.
- MATLAB scripting in order to plot features on certain gearshift events.
- Algorithm analysis in order to describe software improvements on transmission features.
- OBD DTC’s testing on HIL bench using dSpace Control Desk and dSpace Automation Desk.
- Stimulus files development in order to use dSpace Automation Desk and automate the testing.
- Transmission valves dither feature analysis.
Transmission Calibration Engineer
(November 2015 – March 2021)
Main Tasks:
- Data analysis script in order to determine the time for a gearshift to be completed, so we could decide if a change of material in a Synchronizer of a Double Clutch Transmission should be made.
- Clutch Filling Feature Lead in order to prepare the different clutches’ for Upshifts and Downshifts in an eight-speed torque converter-based transmission.
- Refinement algorithm calibration in order to compensate for car to car variation and system non-linearities.
- Numerical simulation of strategy’s algorithms in order to minimize calibration time during development.
- Detection of a circular pattern in manual transmission car lever in order to recognize the trajectory of it using Stereoscopic Vision.
- Development of Matlab based Pedal Control using ATI Vision as an interface in order to command pedal profiles and make more accurate tests with a variability factor still present.
- Digital Signal Processing on sensors signals in order to process transmission data.
